Prof. Amit Gefen, Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Institute for Pressure Injury Prevention, has been selected to receive the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel’s 2017 Experienced Investigator Award.
The Experienced Investigator Award is the most prestigious recognition given by the EPUAP, and is awarded for a significant, internationally-recognized contribution to pressure ulcer research in the basic sciences or clinical sciences.
At the upcoming EPUAP Annual Conference in Belfast this September, Prof. Gefen will be presented with the award and deliver a plenary award lecture reviewing his work in the field of pressure ulcers.
